Universitas Pelita Harapan holds the first national scientific research proposal competition aiming to empower women’s interest and contribution in science and technology. The competition will be conducted both online and onsite with the main aim to inspire research interest in science and technology among high school and undergraduate students. The research proposal competition is open for future female scientists who are currently pursuing undergraduate study majoring in life science and senior high school students, to spark their interest in science and research. This competition is also aimed to enable participants to disseminate and develop their ideas and innovations in science and technology. The students’ participants are grouped with a maximum of 3 members per team. The selected proposal will receive up to IDR 6 million in research funding and a chance to conduct their research using the research facilities in UPH under the supervision of local or overseas researchers. A total of 12 million research funding is available. A total of IDR 20 million scholarship is also available for a few local students for enrollment to some local universities.
